The Back to Basics Rasa Yoga Class offers students an introduction or reintroduction to the alignment principles of yoga, fundamental yoga postures and philosophy. Students will be encouraged to delve into the possibilities that live within, being playfully challenged to open their bodies, minds, and hearts to experience the joy and freedom that results. Emphasis will be on standing poses, while also introducing backbends, hip-openers, and spine poses. Students will leave feeling more grounded and empowered as they work to systematically stretch and strengthen their hamstrings, hips, backs, and shoulders.
