Jupiter, also known as Zeus, King of Gods, moves into a new sign every 12 months, returning to where he began in the natal chart every 12 years. Heralded as the “greater benefic” and the “lucky planet” by traditional astrologers, this celestial body invites us to expand into our highest potential, springing into what a part of us knows we’re capable of, even if other aspects of who we are are daunted by the idea. Where Jupiter lives, we are meant to have faith in ourselves and our ideals, to broaden our horizons and perspectives, and to, at times, “go big or go home.” When the ‘guru planet’ transits into certain parts of our charts, we are not meant to sit back and rest on our laurels, simply letting these things happen; instead, we’re asked to take a great leap so that we know just how expansive we actually can be!

In the sign of the Great Mother, the Healer, and the Caretaker, we are invited to practices of self-care and nourishment, experiences with chosen, soul, and/or biological family, profound dives into our rich emotional landscapes, and the deepening of what it means to truly be at home.
