Join us for this special Beltane workshop, one that pays homage to the sacred bond between the earth beneath us and the life within us.

We’ll gather to commemorate this ancient Celtic fertility festival, a time to celebrate the awakening of the summer season through earth-honouring practices and joyful embodiment. Weaving together the teachings of Evolutionary Astrology, Celtic earth-based wisdom, and yoga, we will explore a variety of postures and perspectives throughout the afternoon.

We'll embark upon a journey that includes a skilfully-sequenced movement practice, intention-setting, breathwork, journaling, and contemplation. The afternoon will include an exploration of the archetypal energies of the Celtic goddess Brigid, the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, her Western counterpoint Venus/Aphrodite, and the zodiac sign of Taurus, whose season holds Beltane. Lila will support us in contemplating what it means to embody these energies fully, ending with a special Lakshmi sadhana so that we may welcome her abundance on every level of being.
